The Arrival

So we were up bright and early today at 5am and left at 6. It wasn't too bad as I was hoping to be away by quarter to - Mrs J I'm looking at you...

The journey to Gatwick was very uneventful, followed by a quick transfer to the airport.

The flight was now showing as on time so we did some duty free shopping and then went for breakfast. There was too much choice but in the end we chose Jamie's.

A great choice and fab meal for all...

No sooner had we finished eating the board announced that our flight was boarding so we headed off to the gate.

Our seats were in row 36, with the seats in 3 groups of 3. It was a 777 in case anyone is interested.

There was an issue with the in flight entertainment which meant there were no movies for the first hour or so but then the problem was resolved and we were away.

Some 9 hours later we touched down in Tampa and picked up our car and headed for the condo. Will share more photos of this tomorrow but will share one of the view from out balcony.

We then double backed on ourselves to do a bit of food shopping so headed off to Super Target - as many of you will know it's a favourite of ours. On the way back we popped in to Chick Fil-A :)

So back in the apartment and trying to stay awake for a bit longer. It's 9.40pm local time but 2.40am UK time...

So we have arrived...
