This Time Next Week....

So the countdown is nearly complete and this time next week we will be there. I know it's been really quiet on the update front but I've been very busy and pre-occupied with work and other tasks. It's a real pain when work interferes with your social life...

The reason for this post is two fold. Firstly to check that everyone has signed up to the blog and is receiving the updates - Grumps, I'm talking about you. Secondly to give you an update on the planning. I know it's only a week away but I have taken a much more relaxed approach to the holiday this year and hope it is in keeping with the break itself.

So the final balance on the accommodation is paid. This in itself was a bit of a challenge but I will leave that for when we return, but all done now.

Yesterday saw me order my dollars, not a great rate but hey what can you do? Brexit, I'm looking at you... Not content with this I powered through the remaining items on my to-do list.

Hire car booked. Have returned to Alamo this year after our nightmare experience with Avis. Fingers crossed it will go smoothly this year.

Travel insurance booked - yes I know it's quite late but now it's done. Wasn't as straightforward, as we are no longer classed as a family.... Now that Miss B is a fully fledged adult we have to switch to group insurance...

Clearwater Sea Safari booked - really looking forward to this. Search on google if you want to find out more. Other search engines are available... You have to specify a date so fingers crossed for the weather...

Water park booked. It's located next to Busch Gardens and called Adventure Island in case you are interested in looking it up?

Have made sure I have the latest maps for the app I use on my phone for directions. My go-to app is Navmii and hasn't let me down yet... The apartment is only around 30 minutes from the airport so hopefully it's fairly straightforward...
