It's All About The Splash...

I know we've said it before but you can't beat breakfast on the balcony watching dolphins playing below you. It's something you just don't get tired of seeing.

The weather forecast wasn't great but that wasn't going to stop us. We got ready and headed out - today's plan was to head to Adventure Island, a water park next to Busch Gardens. It was about an hour's journey in the car.

During the trip we experienced a torrential downpour...

We didn't see the sun today but on the whole it was mainly dry. I spent the majority of the time on the lazy river, whilst the girls ticked off all the rides.

We don't have any pictures of the park, so you will need to google it.

We had arrived about 11 and were one of the last to leave when the park shut at 5.

On the way back we stopped off for another first DQ - Dairy Queen for a quick ice cream.

After a shower we headed out around 8 for something to eat. It was very quiet and a lot of the outlets didn't open today. Schools reopened today so suspect that is the reason, but it had a slightly different feel today.

So now back in the apartment and watching the Olympics. Michael Phelps..  awesome!
