So before we retired for the evening after a few hands of cards - we are so rock and roll - we decided we could do with some time out of the sun. You all know what that means... Yes the suggestion from the female contingent was that some retail therapy was in order.
We had pre-selected two outlets and so decided to head to Ellenton Premium Outlet. We had breakfast in the apartment and left just after 9am.
Will need to have a look at the route mapping software this evening as despite saying 31miles, when we headed off it was showing as nearer 51 miles.
Pretty uneventful drive that featured one toll and a hugely impressive bridge we went over. Not sure we got a photo so will have to rely on Google for that one.
We arrived at the Outlet Mall around 10.30am and after 2 hours and 15 minutes had managed to visit 3 shops... Unlike the outlets in previous years this was very quiet with very few other people around. Most of the time we were the only people in the store.
It was timeout for lunch and we chose Chinese, which was OK, but not up to Ken Hom standards.
So after a quick pit stop it was back to the task in hand and I will spare you the rest of my pain :)
We left the mall just after 7pm and arrived back at the villa just after 8.15pm. We are sat on the balcony watching the thunder and lightning again whilst our food cooks.
That's all folks...
